- As the new University of Hawai’i Aquaculture Program Coordinator I wish to bring together and enhance system-wide aquaculture research, education and outreach programs. My goal is to help advance the development and implementation of the Aquaculture Program, involving collaboration between both internal and external entities relevant to the University’s mission towards aquaculture.

How should we promote food security via Aquaculture?
Excellency in science does not depend solely on the amount of talent one has. Healthy competition, based on peer review, trustful and effective collaboration and the amount of grant money available to the researchers are playing an important role in providing the appropriate ingredients for high-level research. Thank you for initating the acquaintance. I do not follow the FijiGuide membership roster so I missed your entrance onto the forum. I regret this major error.
I have not had a chance yet to thoroughly review your website, so I will withhold the many questions I have on your aquaculture program. I sense from Dan Leuck's post below that you are also involved with aquaculture in Fiji.
