Dennis--some really great shots. Thanks for sharing them. I actually met some kai loma Fishers years ago on Taveuni. They owned a freehold property in Vanua Levu they were trying to sell. I'll have to make some scans of old slides.
When was the "Family home at Diloi, Buca Bay. Vanua Levu" photo taken? Looks like the '30s to me.

Dennis I finally found the shot of the Fishers I was looking for. Check it out. It was taken in about 1981on their island off of Vanua Levu.
