Fiji has remained in my heart and soul since I spent time in Vorovoro in 2008.
I am interested in being in contact with people about tourism on VOROVORO for the new tourism project following the closing of the Tribewanted project there.

I would like to be in touch with people who are looking for a simple, close, genuine encounter with the Fijian culture when they come to Fiji. Along with a small group of people, I am working towards re opening an sustainable-cultural tourism village that should be able to open in 2011 that allows people to have an enjoyable fun visit to a Fijian island while experiencing first hand contact with the culture and also not spending a bundle of money to do so - and not have to stay in a resort. We hope to see the project up and running this summer, currently waiting on final approval. This project is on an island near Labasa. As soon as final approval comes through, the website will go up. For now, we are just trying to make contact with "the right kind of tourist".
