- Worked, lived and played in Fiji for many years. Love the country, cultures, people, climate and idyllic destinations. Feel bad about the current economic and political situation. A democratically elected and honest government needs to be returned to power.
The Fijians need get their heads out of their grog bowls to reclaim their country. The Indian businessmen rule the country through Fijian puppets.
I also wish the Australian Govt would ease immigration restrictions on Pacific Islanders coming to live and work here for a better life and income.

Just finding my way around this new site (I'm a bit slow to learn!) and found you. We had 2 weeks back at octopus in Sept/Oct and had the usual great time. We also managed to get a night up at their new sister resort (hasn't opened yet) & I've just attempted to put a blog about that on here, have a look. It's the old Nalova Bay Resort and I think will be great also - think I will have to extend my Fiji time so I can stay a decent time at both in future! But Octopus & the people there will still be my favourite. Saw Nawaqa a few times, he looks as good as ever.
