Meandering white tip reef shark at The Wreck dive site off Qamea and Matangi Islands

Hi Appy,
Thanks. There's a story behind this photo:
While this perspective may seem deep, it was actually quite shallow . . . around 15 feet deep. It was pouring rain outside (it rained the whole time I was in Fiji) so it was rather dark. As I jumped in, I released the air out of my BCD and almost immediately I felt something moving around my fins. When I looked down, this shark was directly underneath me. I'd "landed" on it. It took a little time for me to collect my senses (because I was scared), grab my camera and start shooting.
Appy this is a FANTASTIC hard coral reef for snorkeling (it's called Broken Reef or the Wreck) - truly one of the best, if not thee best in northwest Fiji. It can be located by the large pole that sticks up from the reef about a 1/2 mile from Matangi Island (facing Taveuni) and just of shore from Qamea (it's technically Qamea's northern barrier reef). Of course, this observation was pre-Cyclone Tomas. Things may have changed . . .
Best,
Scott
