My favorites were Natewa Bay and the area straight out from Taveuni Island Resort.

I wish we had a chance to dive the Great White Wall. Oh well - next time!
On the day that Amanda and I were to dive the Great White Wall, the ocean roared up something fierce. On our way to the dive site, the waves ceaselessly pounded our little aluminum boat from all angles. Before too long, we crashed down the backside of one swell, and the impact of the wave trough actually shattered the windshield of our boat, cutting my foot and another diver's forehead. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt, though most all of us were shaken up by the event. In the end, we had to dive another spot - Jerry's jelly - which was nice, but not the legendary White Wall. Maybe next time for us too...
The Rainbow Reef off Tavenuni was really fun. Between dives we'd munch on sandwiches, fruit and cookies on this tiny secluded beach with a volleyball net before heading out for round two. We saw lots of nudi branch, soft corral, egg coral, brain coral, and a Christmas tree worm. The best part of the diving though was our guide, Tyrone. You can find him at the restaurant/dive shop Torotoro. Tyrone's Zen-like demeanor underwater was contagious. He would do this thing where he'd be floating along with the current, legs crossed, kicking back as if he were in a lounge chair. Then he'd mime taking pictures of all the cool stuff or give you an okay sign in the slowest motion I've ever seen. You could tell this guy was totally stoked to be diving.
