I have a friend over in Fiji who runs a non profit called "Words for the World". The org donated books, medical and school supplies to Fijian organizations. He lives up near Rakiraki and may have an idea where you could donate the materials in the Coral Coast. If you're interested I can put you in touch with him.
yes that sound great! we also have some, not a great deal, bul some medical supplies. if i can find where to go and what they need most that would be great! thank you
You stating above that you will be visiting your mothers friend who is a chief in his village. Why dont you just donate what you have to the village school. As medical supplies goes...any hospital in Fiji ...major or otherwise will be just too happy to have those supplies....they are very much needed...believe me!
Medical supplies are always well received at ANY Nursing Clinic in the villages. Most of the "major" villages in Fiji have a Nursing Station, and then you know it is going directly to support the community you meet. Keep the supplies simple. Paracetamol and ibuprofen etc is always well received, as are elastic bandages.
