Links Fiji Foundation ~ medical team on Vanua levu
Links Fiji is a foundation based in Australia, headed by Sadhana Smiles. Sadhana was born in Fiji and has very close family ties here! (We met on Twitter.) This is the second year for Links Fiji to organize a medical team to come to Vanua Levu,
with their primary focus on screening women for cervical and breast cancer.
Here are some photos from their recent stay at Lomalagi Resort. They were with us four nights and made outreach visits to three villages in the area during that time. They also spent one day at Savusavu Hospital, visited another village (so went to a total of four) and screened staff at one of the larger resorts. From here, the team went to Labasa for another two days of screening.
