Injections
Bula to all, my husband and I are coming on the 29th May this year. We are not to sure whether we need injections for dengue fever, some say no need to some say you must. We will be staying at Denerau saying that we will be adventuring out. Also I have been told not to bring my jewellery over to Fiji incase I get confronted by theives is this true.

Angela, I would check with the CDC and see what they have posted. I've not heard anything one way or the other.
I don't know if there would be any reason to bring valuable jewelry over to Fiji. I don't think you'd have anything to worry about but why take chances?

That's news to me that they have developed a vaccine for dengue fever. That would save thousands of lives a year. There are only 16 strains of dengue fever. I doubt if one vaccine would work on all of them.
