Hi everyone I am new here on the forum. Going to fiji with my husband in 2013 around end of May for my 50th. Can anyone tell me if the humitity in fiji is the same as Queensland (Australia) humitity around that time of year. Also I am keen to go to the pearl farm; has anyone been there?

I don't know of a pearl farm on the Coast Coast but there is one in Savusavu that I really enjoyed.

Thanks Robert did you purchase anything when you went and would it be cheaper than the stores or duty free?
Permalink Reply by Robert F. Kay on August 5, 2012 at 5:39pm I didn't buy any pearls when I was there. Probably best to just shop around. I don't know if they would be any cheaper at the duty free store as opposed to buying them from the source.
I know that in past years the price has gone down because the market was flooded with pearls from French Polynesia.
