Gifts to bring
Can anyone give us some more insight on what gifts we can bring to Vanu Lenu? We won a trip to Namale and we would love to bring essentials, but we are not sure what they would be. We leave on June 5th.

Tee shirts, cosmetics and try guitar strings. They are small, light and in the rural areas greatly appreciated. The musicians will love you.

Thank you Robert. We have already purchased school supplies (pencils, colouring pencils, paper). When you say cosmetics, what are you referring to? And should we give it to whoever is asking for it, or give it to a leader in a village (or school teacher?) We have no idea, so many different forums say so many different things!

We recommend toothbrushes and toothpaste for the kids at the school. They love 'em (just like new toys) and it beats the heck out of candy!
