Garden Island Resort, a popular Mecca for divers, is owned and operated by Aqua-Trek. Formerly the Taveuni Travelodge, this small resort hotel is set on Fiji’s "Garden Island" with a spectacular backdrop featuring verdant rain forests, stunning waterfalls and wonderful beaches. The island’s culture is rich in tradition, and the people here embody the trademark Fijian friendliness and warmth. And of course the diving on the Rainbow Reef and Somosomo Strait is truly world class. All 28 standard rooms feature air conditioning (there are 2 dorm rooms with ceiling fans only), refrigerators, coffee/tea facilities, private baths, and have balconies or patios overlooking the Ocean.
